Great Community & Spacious Building
Eliot is a welcoming and dynamic congregation of the United Church of Christ (UCC). Located in Newton Corner, we are a progressive church that takes the Bible seriously but not literally, and believes that God is still speaking to us today. We are an Open and Affirming Church. No matter who you are or where you are from, no matter your gender identity or sexual orientation, we welcome and celebrate you! We cherish and welcome people of all ages, races, genders, nationalities or faith background. Our Sanctuary is built in typical New England congregational church architecture. We have a spacious, bright sanctuary that combines traditional and modern styles. Additionally, our Fellowship Hall with a commercial size kitchen provides room for all kinds of celebrations. The sanctuary holds about 400 people, and Fellowship Hall can accommodate up to 227 people (106 seated at tables). |

We'll guide you through all of it!
Your wedding ceremony will be designed with you and your personalities in mind. Family traditions, readings, songs, and many other elements can have a place during the wedding service. Our pastor will happily accommodate religious, nonreligious, interreligious, ecumenical, and other types of weddings. Couples work together with our pastor, who offers premarital counseling and assistance in forming and shaping the ceremony the way you like. If you have your own officiant, they are welcome to co-officiate with our pastor. |

Breath-taking Music
Music for the ceremony is coordinated by the Director of Music Ministry and chosen in consultation with her. Vocal and instrumental soloists can add great beauty to a wedding ceremony. The Director of Music Ministry likewise coordinates the hiring of any additional musicians if requested, and is happy to provide more information upon request. Some couples desire to integrate their family and friends during the Service. Our Director of Music Ministry will be happy to coordinate music with them and integrate them into the service. |

Flexible Schedule
Start times for Saturday weddings are between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Sunday afternoon start times are between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The wedding rehearsal is usually held a day or two before the wedding. We are happy to host weddings on other days of the week, schedule permitting. Click here for pricing.
