Earth Day became a day of observance for many by planting a tree in honor to creation. Eliot Church did not plant a tree but MANY pollinator-attracting plants, bushes and shrubs on the Southside of our church. In an article below, our member Michael Benn outlines the many benefits for the climate and for us of having pollinators and supporting their well-being. In order to do that, we need to create the habitat for pollinators to thrive. If you want to learn more about what pollinators to plant in your garden, and what are beneficial combinations and benefits, make sure you visit our church. We arranged a bulletin board with materials and information about pollinator plants.
