Eliot provides professional infant and toddler care during the worship services.. Children are also always welcome in worship!

Sunday School

Our Sunday School program begins at age 3 up through high school. Our Sunday School day begins at approximately 10:15 each Sunday, following a Children's Time near the beginning of each service. Children leave the Sanctuary to go to their classrooms and attend Sunday School until the end of services. Children remain with their parents during special services at Christmas and Easter. All of our children and youth participate in worship and creative programming throughout the year.

We have a committed team of over 30 volunteers and a strong teacher support program in place. In the classroom, children can expect to learn about spiritual practices such as prayer and giving; as well as engage in the stories of the Old and New Testament in age-appropriate lessons and activities.

Mission and service is also important to our Sunday School Program. We encourage involvement in caring outreach projects both close to home, such as making valentines for shut-ins and stocking backpacks with school supplies for children of incarcerated parents, and globally, by sponsoring animals through donations to the Heifer Project.

We also strive to cultivate an awareness of the spiritual discipline of generosity and giving. Every week we take up an offering during each church school class to which we give to local and national organizations.
