The Spiritual Life of Eliot Church
The spiritual life of Eliot Church members is expressed and enhanced in a wide variety of ways. In addition to Sunday morning worship, prayer and preaching, we hold adult Bible Studies, theological and spiritual discussion forums, mission and ministry forums, small group ministries, Healing services, special seasonal mid-week worship, Christian service projects, Care Team ministries to the sick and homebound, nursing home services, church-wide retreats, women’s retreats, and youth retreats. |

Every Sunday morning, we invite the congregation to verbally lift their concerns and celebrations in prayer, so all of us can pray for them together. Those who choose can become part of an ongoing Prayer Circle. The Sunday prayer requests, and other requests made during week, are sent to prayer circle members by letter or email, so that they can pray continually for those concerns.

Hospital and home visits, counseling and the prayers of the church are offered to all who wish them. Ministry to the sick and to their families is a significant resource in difficult times. Please call the church office to let us know when there is a need.

Our pastors are available for counseling on personal, family, and spiritual matters, and in times of crisis. Arrangements may be made for pastoral counseling by calling the church office.
