Christian Education Mission Statement
We as a Christian faith community, by God’s grace, strive to provide our members with Christian roots and an experience of faith formation and transformation, through which we will know who we are and what we believe.
For our children, we teach them that God loves them. We teach them the Way of Christ—“to love God and neighbor” We teach that God guides us through the power of the Holy Spirit. We teach them God’s Word.
For our youth, we strive to provide a safe and sacred space to discover the meaning of their faith and an inclusive sense of Christian fellowship.
For our adults, we will provide an informative and creative Adult Christian Education program that embodies Christian values and biblical exploration and respects the differences in each of our personal Christian faith journeys.
Through our covenant with God and one another, we will maintain an atmosphere of joy and safety, community and creativity---celebrating the sacredness of God’s creation and the love of Christ’s church for all. We will be extravagantly welcoming—and the uniqueness of all members will be affirmed and cherished. |
